It's a work in progress so you may have seen plenty of changes over the last bit. I'm working to make it more appealing for everyone and yet showing who I am. Hope you enjoy and come back soon.

Bible in 90 Days, are you in?
So I attempted (and a failed attempt at that) to try and read the Bible in 90 Days last year. I thought I could do it, but the demands of having an infant proved to be too much, and I wasn't in a good place spiritually. I gave up after a few weeks, and regretted it. But now, even though I have a toddler who is demanding and activities that take a lot of time and dedication, I have worked in daily bible reading (and I'm in a good place spiritually, take a look at my previous post about finding a church home). into my schedule. So starting July 11, with Mom's Toolbox and my HR Wives of Faith ladies, I'm going to be reading the Bible in 90 days along with so many others. I just received my copy of the Bible in 90 Days
that I ordered from Amazon. I wasn't going to buy another bible, I personally have about 10 (2 of which were my Grams). I have never read the whole bible yet, but it's about time and I'm ready for it. I finished the Gospels recently and I'm ready for more. Let me know if you are going to participate too so that we can support each other.

Finally I think I've found a home
Well a church home that is. I was just searching the internet one day and came across a Military Spouse Christian Fellowship and Bible study at a church close to my house ( Community United Methodist Church). I had been searching for a church for quite some time. I hadn't been in a really REALLY long time. I was very active while I was in HS, but when college came and I left home I also seemed to leave church. My reason for going at first was because my grams went to that church and she loved it and I did too. But I hadn't been in a long time and wasn't sure what I wanted but I knew that I would like to go to a UMC (United Methodist Church). So I went to the mil spouse group and loved it. Then I was told about a Women's Faith Focus group and went to that group and enjoyed it too. Before long I finally went to my first service, which was Mother's Day, and knew that I finally found a place for me.
I tried a Sunday School class last week (Jacob's Ladder) that was a class on learning about the Bible by studying it and really like the group and the people in it and joined them this past Sunday. I even went to my first circle meeting tonite and can't wait till the fall when they become active again. One of the reasons that I really enjoying going there (besides the people) is that they have nursery (child care) for all of the classes and programs that I want to attend. I'm finally starting to come up out of my depression some and I'm actually working my way through the Bible now, which has been something that I've wanted to do for some time. D loves going to the nursery and playing with the other kids so he's getting something out of this too. I just wish my grams could see what we were up to, but I know she is up in Heaven smiling down, happy that I've finally found a home away from home.
